Daniel Wasserbly serves as Americas editor and Washington bureau chief for Jane’s, managing
editorial coverage of the United States, as well as North and South America.
His areas of expertise include U.S. military equipment, U.S. defense budgeting, military
operations and missile defense. A seasoned journalist, he has studied and written about
defense issues for the past decsde, including coverage of operations in Iraq and
Afghanistan. Mr. Wasserbly’s degrees include a Bachelor of Arts in international relations
from Boston University and a Master of Arts in security studies from George Washington
University. He is the author or The 300: the Inside Story of the Missile Defenders
Guarding America against Nuclear Attack ( St.Martin’s Press 2020).
